Helen Tilston in Sarasota, Florida |
I hope you are having the best summer ever.
There has been lots of excitement here and several trips both local and international.
My second blog Plein Aire Cottage Artists explains my lost button and I would greatly welcome assistance.
Looks as if you are having a wonderful Summer Helen and, a productive one too.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid that I'm the last one to ask when it comes to technology but, I just usually google my problem and invariably get an answer that sorts it. Hope that might help….. it's the best that I have !!!! XXXX
Hello Jacqueline. Yes we are having a great summer and as the saying goes 'somethings got to give' and that would be my garden.
DeleteI changed my template and all the tutorials for re-installing the darned button are obsolete and blogger changed "html" a year ago.
Technology certainly brings out the humble in us.

sounds like your summer has been great!
ReplyDeleteYes a great summer indeed and I hope you are also in the midst of the joy
DeleteHelen xx
I wish I could help you Helen, but I don't know how too! Looking forward to hear of the exciting things that are happening!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of the summer!

Hello Madelief
DeleteHow kind of you to offer help but I fully understand this is difficult to do.
Button or no button the joys of summer shall prevail.
Helen xx
Really sorry Helen, I would like to help but I find it very difficult to offer advice on another blog. I do the same as Jacqueline and tend to ask the blogger forums for help.
ReplyDeleteHello Rosemary
DeleteThank you for your kind concern. I have burned the midnight oil trying forums and will give it some more research. I was hoping there was a simply step.
I'm still puzzling over your gate.
Helen xx
Same here, Helen. No idea why these problems arise on Bloggger and just Google till I find a solution. Your summer sounds teriffic. When I read lost Buttons I thought of buttons on clothing. That says I belong to the older, not younger, generation. Have a great week, Helen!
ReplyDeleteHello Sanda
DeleteYes, lost buttons means something else when one can sew. Recently a young friend's child was fascinated watching me sew on a button and repair a hole in a sweater. Perhaps this is going to be a lost craft.
Hope you are having a wonderful week
Helen xx
Hi Helen,
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what might have happened to your reply button, but it might be worth searching for an answer on Google's Blogger help forums. I hope your summer is going well! I am in the midst of getting settled in New York so things are in a bit of a whirlwind right now. Hopefully things will feel a bit more settled in a couple weeks, but classes start next week and I am carrying a very heavy course load.
All the best,
Louise
Hello Louise
DeleteAgain, you are wise in pointing me in the direction of getting help.
I am delighted to hear from you and know you will find joy in your new chosen path. I will be anxiously following your path and hope you manage to blog occasionally.

In Italy we had worse summer weather than ever :-( ... never so bad !
ReplyDeletebut I see there is much better ! saluti
Hello Massimo
DeleteSorry to hear about the inclement climate in Italy. I am sure it will pick up and you will have a beautiful autumn.
To a great week

What a pretty entrance you have to your house, Helen. I am hopeless with technology, buttons or otherwise; it is a wonder I ever manage to blog!
ReplyDeleteHello Patricia
DeleteWe love painting in this area of Sarasota. Always a new vista
I am having success with my lost button
Cheers

Hello, Helen!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be having a really wonderful summer. Lovely picture; the colors are so alive and inviting.
Regarding the lost button, I think the Blogger help forums should be helpful. I'm quite apprehensive when it comes to these things, which is why I seldom change my settings. Hope it gets fixed soon. Take care.
Suman
Hello Suman
DeleteThe light is always special in this little corner of Sarasota.
You are wise and I have had success with Blogger Forums. I will leave well enough alone in future. It is enormously time consuming
Kindest regards
Helen xx
I loved the photos in your last post - and the picture in this one too. I hope you've found the answer to your question. I am helpless in the face of loss of technology!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and your visit is always appreciated.
DeleteI have been successful, following hours of time on line, in sorting my lost button
Helen xx
You seem to be having a wonderful summer and be creative and productive as always. I read your last post with beautiful photos. It really made my day! I always feel happy when I read your posts which are full of delight and beauty.
ReplyDeleteSorry for the lost buttons. I wish I could tell something helpful to you......
Hello Sapphire,
DeleteHow kind of you to read my posts and your kind words are much appreciated. I feel great joy also when you post and it transposes me to a country which I love and admire.
The lost button has been found, so to speak.
Wishing you a week of joy
Helen xx
Hello Helen,
ReplyDeleteWe are certain that wherever you may be joy will be close at hand, for that is what you create and bring to life. We cannot wait for you to have a spare moment to write and share with us everything that you have been doing. Sometimes the pace of life really does prevent one from being present in Blogland, but you are always in our thoughts.
We imagined a lost button to be part of your clothing which had gone amiss. We now realise that this is a technological rather than a textile problem. Hence, unsurprisingly, we can be of no help whatsoever. What wer can do is raise a glass in celebration of your birthday. Cheers!
Dearest Jane and Lance,
DeleteYour words are uplifting and generous on this rainy morning. A soft rain, as they say here in Ireland.
This summer has been beautiful and lots of travelling and gallivanting.
You are fine examples of living life to the fullest and being inclusive.
Thank you for the birthday wishes.
Fondly,
Helen xx
What a lovely entrance to where ever it is. Thanks for stopping by my blog Helen. I've signed up to follow here and will go back through some previous posts to see what excites you in life.

Dearest Helen, so glad you found your lost 'button', sounds painful! Belated happy birthday, I hope you had a wonderful time. Thank you so much for your kind comments. Wishing you a lovely weekend. All my love, Linda x
ReplyDeleteHi Linda
ReplyDeleteIt was paintful to have lost my button as well as frustrating. I had some wonderful suggestions from bloggers and did get it resolved. Relief!
Thanks for your good wishes and enjoy your weekend
Helen xx Regards to Lois
Oh technology. I am impressed you figured it out. Usually takes me weeks. Oh what a summer you must have had. I didn't get to go anywhere, though I can dream.
