Dear Helen
ReplyDeleteI hope I didn't say anything which sounded "wrong" as you are a lady I really, really like and admire... and you are also professional, too, so much so, you are celebrated in art publications, and so you should be (sorry about the "posh" thing! I really didn't mean for it to sound offensive... I hope I am forgiven for talking nonsense! I would hate to upset you!)
You should, indeed, show off your achievements and... thank you for sharing! As always, you are very generous!

Ah, now I know what the dupont Registry is!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Helen on being featured in this magazine along with your colleagues - how wonderful for you all.
Helen, friend, I was an idiot. I didn't read this post properly and failed to recognize that what you were giving away featured your art. I must have been reading many blogs and was just spaced hideously. I realized my error after visiting Jane and Lance's blog and recently seeing the registry link they had posted on their sidebar.
ReplyDeletePlease understand I meant no slight and am deeply, deeply chagrined. I offer a sincere apology -- and almost feel like crying as understanding washes over me.
Hello Suze
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely no apologies needed my friend. I took no offence at all. As a follower of your blog I do know you are kind and considerate and would never offend.
Wishing you a very Happy New Year and looking forward to keeping in touch
