One never know what treasures the beach will offer on a given day.
On our morning walk two weeks ago, we found all types of coral.
Since yesterday, I am unable to" COMMENT" on YOUR blogs. I am receiving "Comments",
however cannot reply to your comments.
When I comment on your blogs here is what happens:
I write my comment
From my drop down menu I select Google A/C
and bam....My comment disappears
Does anyone have any solutions?
test comment using safari search engine
ReplyDeleteI have been messaging Jeanne Henriques "Collage For Life" in Saigon. Jeane though your suggestions and patience, I have resolved my issue.
ReplyDeleteI signed into my account using the search engine "Safari" and got my blog dashboard back. Allellulia
Ah! Just read this. Wonderful. :)
DeleteHello Helen,
ReplyDeleteAaaaahhhh the wonders of the beach and the vagaries of the Blogosphere. Do any of us really understand these things? We have certainly lost count of the number of occasions when our comments have been swallowed whole and, unlike Jonah, never appeared to see the light of a comment box again.
Still, just consider the lives of those pieces of Coral. Who can know what incredible things have taken place to make them what they are and how you have come to discover them on the beach. To quote e e cummings ...... " it is always ourselves we discover in the sea....."
DeleteDearest Jane and Lance
You have such a wonderful way with words and I am giggling at your reference to Jonah and your comment box. A brilliant play on words.
I love the quote of ee cummings.
I'm delighted to have my little blog working onceagain.
My best for a wonderful weekend
Helen xx
Glad your comment ability has returned.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I've encountered a few glitches along the way where comments disappear. With me, usually, its because I don't notice the statement that it will be posted after "approval." Lately there have been small glitches on Blogger. I read the forums using keywords for the problems I have.
Great finds! They are beautiful.
Nice to hear from you. I am very relieved to have my comments in working order. Hope life is good with you

A warm welcome dear Anna. I have been thinking about you and felt you were reclining and pondering life in beautiful Italy.
DeleteI hope life is good for your and your family
Helen xx
Fabulous finds! What beautiful colours too.
ReplyDeleteJane
The colours are beautiful and we are unsure if they will retain their colours without a finish.
DeleteHope you have a wonderful weeken

So pleased that you have managed to resolve the problem Helen - it is really annoying when things suddenly go wrong, I tend immediately to blame poor old blogger, but I find that invariably it is something that I have done myself.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous collection of beach combing treasures - could they be the foundation of a 'still life' painting?
Such lovely treasures from the sea, Helen! Hope you have resolved that issue - very frustrating to have these little glitches! Cheers, Loi
ReplyDeleteOh Helen ….. I love the coral that you found ……. would it be a good subject to paint ? ….. beautiful colours.
ReplyDeleteYou've probably just got a ' touch of the Gremlins ' and all will be well soon !!!! XXXX
Fabulous beach find. I have trouble commenting occasionally, but most often I don't encounter problems. I use Chrome and am very happy with it. I hope you can resolve the issue. I feel your frustration.
ReplyDeleteSam
Hi Helen, I was just about to suggest using Safari, but I see you have already tried it - glad to hear the problem has been resolved. I am happy to say that spring is finally here in Toronto. The corals you found are beautiful!! Hope all is well with you!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous coral!
ReplyDeleteDear Helen, I battle with Blogger and also with uploading photographs, it takes ages! I love your sea finds, beach-combing is one of my favourite occupations. Have a very happy weekend. Jane xx
ReplyDeleteWow, that's beautiful! Love the rich colour; so gorgeous. True, one never knows what treasures the waves bring along. The last month when I was home and went for beach walk, we spotted many a beached jellyfish rotting away under the sun. Some crabs were feasting on them.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend. xx
What a wonderful find! I have never seen coral wash up on the beach, but I am only an occasional visitor! Blogger is such a mixed bag. I can see from my sitemeter that comments are being left that never reach me too! Frustrating! Hopefully they are on it soon! So nice to have a visit from you! Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful finds Helen.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. The only thing I can think is what search engine do you use. I had to change to Google Chrome to make blogger work property. I was on explorer and it stopped working. Try clearing your cache maybe. If all else fails, switch off and switch in again :-)
That last suggestion is just a joke teehee.

Hi Helen,
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful beach gems! Your photo makes me miss Crete! Hope you resolved those trying and terrible technical issues!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Poppy
I'm so glad you included a picture of what you found, Helen. I've never seen anything like that with my own eyes.
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating about the comments. I wish I had something helpful to offer!
No solution, as I can barely blog. Would think I died and gone to heaven to find such beautiful corals.
ReplyDeleteHello Helen. Seems I battle Blogger often. Main problem for me is it freezes up while I type a comment. Only way to get it going again is to reset to the Google option in the "comment as" block and then I can continue. Glad you got your problem resolved. Have a wonderful Easter weekend!
ReplyDeleteFantastic treasure Helen, I also find blogger can sometimes eat comments with great gusto. I rarely comment via my ipad anymore as they never get to the chosen destination, I have to do it directly via my laptop. Hopoe you are having a grand weekend. Paul x
ReplyDeleteThat coral is amazing! I've never found any on the beach! But you're right...you never know what treasures you'll find. I got your comment so I hope blogger took care of the problem. Enjoy your weekend and this beautiful weather! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteHi Helen .. incredible coral finds - they look amazing .. cheers HIlary
